The household goods and contents will need to be valued to ensure the estate receives fair market value for assets such as antiques, paintings, jewellery, specialist items, motor vehicles and general household goods and to provide an accurate picture of their value.

Our valuer will visit the property to do the valuations. Where there are specialist items we can liaise with specialist valuers to arrange this.  Over the years we have assisted with many many valuations and come across all sorts including guns, maps and the finest antiques

We prepare a detailed report for HMRC for inheritance tax purposes.

This is a fixed-fee service which saves law firms a lot of time and effort.  Also, we are approached by family members or friends who often don’t know who to go to for this service.
